About Us

What is Blue Drip Co.?

Blue Drip Co. is a home aroma company specializing in non-toxic, handmade flower reed diffusers, and soy candles. Founded by Dwanye, it emerged from a journey that began with Dj’s Picks Store in 2019. Originally a variety store focusing on clothing and accessories, the challenges of the pandemic led Dwanye to rediscover his passion for candle making, specifically hand-painted concrete containers with a unique touch of blue and black drips.

As the demand for the home aroma products grew, the need for a new name arose, leading to the birth of Blue Drip Co. on January 1st, 2021. The name, with its mysterious allure, resonated well with customers and encapsulated the essence of the brand.

What is the story behind your Flower Reed Diffusers?

The story behind the Flower Reed Diffusers unfolds in the summer of 2021 when Dwanye noticed a decline in candle sales due to the heat. Drawing inspiration from childhood memories of reed diffusers, he sought to enhance the traditional concept. By experimenting with various materials, he discovered sola wood and yuca root rolls, creating flowers with improved scent diffusion. Adding a touch of color using a childhood science experiment, Dwanye crafted a unique and visually appealing reed diffuser, addressing issues like scent longevity and potential headaches.

What is the goal for Blue Drip Co.?

Blue Drip Co.'s overarching goal is to transcend being just a home aroma company. Through the provision of handmade, non-toxic products, including soy candles and flower reed diffusers, the company aims to give back to the community. A portion of every sale contributes to organizing events such as movies in the park across the Bay Area, fostering a sense of community and connection. The brand's growth is not just about products but also about becoming a consistent contributor to the community, with plans to host more events as they expand.
